Mercedes-Benz 113 Pagoda 280 SL
Astral Silver / Grey leather
The Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda is one of the world’s most revered classic cars. It’s beautifully simple Italian derived styling is underpinned by typically robust German engineering. The Pagoda is distinct from the later R107 SL, presenting an entirely different motoring experience.
Driving a Pagoda is like nothing else – the button door push is solid to the touch, the thin rimmed steering wheel delicate in your hands, and the feel of the chassis as it flows with the road utterly delightful. You really do feel at one with this car when you sit in the driver’s seat.
The Pagoda feels alive and responsive as you journey along the nation’s back roads, its twin-pipe exhaust rasping a delicious tune, yet it remains totally planted and controlled, no matter how hard you push it. After just a few miles at the helm, it’s not hard to understand why the Pagoda’s handling was given such high praise at the time.
Wherever our 280SL ventures, admiring eyes are never far behind. Whether in the Cotswolds, Central London, Scotland or beyond, our Pagoda is always a delight.
Enjoy your first Pagoda experience – why not hire our 280SL?

The black leather cabin can be protected by a sturdy fabric top should the weather take a turn, but otherwise this classic Mercedes was built to be enjoyed with its roof tucked away, wind buffeting in the cabin superbly managed for this age of automobile.
